§ 17510

The governing board of a school district may, upon complying with this article, enter into and be a party to a community lease to which a city or other public agency and one or more private persons or private agencies are also parties for the leasing of the parcels of lands owned by the district and the other parties for the extraction and taking of gas not associated with oil, on the terms and conditions that the governing board of the district may prescribe. The lease may be entered into without complying with any provisions of this code except as provided in this article.
