§ 26122

Amended by Stats. 2025, Ch. 239, Sec. 9. (SB 853) Effective January 1, 2026.
(a)“Employer” means a school district, community college district, or county office of education that has elected to provide the benefits of this part to persons employed to perform creditable service. “Employer” shall not include the state.
(b)The board shall have final authority for determining an “employer” for purposes of this part.
