§ 51131

Added by Stats. 1999, Ch. 734, Sec. 7. Effective January 1, 2000.

As used in this article, “parent” means the natural, adoptive, or foster parent of a pupil, a surrogate parent, a family member acting on behalf of the parent, or any person having legal authority to make educational decisions on behalf of a pupil.
