Notwithstanding any other provision of law, except Section 24826, elections for the Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District shall be conducted in accordance with the Uniform District Election Law (Part 4 (commencing with Section 10500) of Division 10 of the Elections Code). Any costs incurred by county officials shall be paid by the transit district.
