In the event that new territory is annexed to the district pursuant to Chapter 7 (commencing with Section 105280), and upon the affirmative vote of a majority of directors, which shall include an affirmative vote of at least three directors from each county within the district appointed pursuant to subdivisions (a) to (f), inclusive, of Section 105020, the board may restructure the membership of the board to provide representation of the new territory on the board.
