§ 40098

Notwithstanding any other provision of law which requires warrants to be paid by the county auditor, the district treasurer shall pay the warrant if sufficient district funds are available.

In the event that the district designates the treasury of the County of Orange to be the depository of district funds and the county auditor is not designated as the district auditor, a listing of warrants issued by the district shall be submitted to the county auditor, upon his request, on the same day the warrants are issued. The form and content of the warrant listing shall be as prescribed by the board and approved by the county

auditor.
