Each pregnant pupil enrolled in any program for physically handicapped pupils maintained by a county superintendent of schools, whose only condition for being enrolled in such a program is her pregnancy, shall be allowed to enroll in automobile driver training provided by the school district of residence; however, the school district shall receive, for the driver training instruction of the pupil, only the driver training allowances authorized by Section 41900 and shall not receive, for the driver training instruction of the pupil, driver training allowances authorized by Section 41306.
