§ 12986

Amended by Stats. 2017, Ch. 799, Sec. 17. (AB 1556) Effective January 1, 2018.

The department shall within 10 days cause a copy of the verified complaint that has been filed under this part to be served upon or mailed to the respondent alleged to have committed the violation complained of and shall advise the respondent in writing of the respondent’s procedural rights and obligations. The respondent may file an answer to the complaint.
