§ 12765

Added by Stats. 1983, 1st Ex. Sess., Ch. 4, Sec. 3. Effective October 18, 1983. Repealed conditionally as prescribed by Section 12790.

The purpose of this article is to assist migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their families to achieve a greater degree of self-sufficiency within or outside the agricultural industry, or both, including, but not limited to: skills training and increasing employment stability; economic development activities that will continue to provide grantees with revenue to provide necessary services to the farmworker poor; and program assistance services, as specified in Section 12767, with highest priority given to the support of program activities with the greatest

potential for successfully promoting self-sufficiency.
