§ 14669.22

Notwithstanding any other law, the director shall exempt from the director’s approval, or approval of the department, transactions entered into by the State Department of Developmental Services for the lease, lease-purchase, or lease with the option to purchase five Stabilization, Training, Assistance and Reintegration (STAR) homes, which serve individuals with developmental disabilities. The State Department of Developmental Services may, in its sole discretion, consult with the department in the review or preparation of any lease executed pursuant to this section.
