§ 50081.1

Added by Stats. 1978, Ch. 939.

The legislative body of a local agency may furnish police officers and deputy sheriffs assigned to solo motorcycle duty with the following safety equipment:

(a)Motorcycle boots and riding breeches.
(b)Leather motorcycle jacket and leather gloves.
(c)Plastic safety helmet.
(d)Suitable eye protective glasses for day duty and suitable eye protective glasses for night duty.

Such equipment shall remain the property of the local agency and shall be returned upon request of the local agency.
