A copy of the contract and a copy of each resolution shall be transmitted to the auditor, or officer holding the equivalent position, of each local agency which is a party to the contract. Thereafter, upon the receipt of revenues transmitted by the State Board of Equalization pursuant to Section 7204 of the Revenue and Taxation Code, the auditor or equivalent officer shall allocate the funds pursuant to the terms of the contract.
