§ 65080.02

Added by Stats. 2019, Ch. 633, Sec. 1. (AB 1633) Effective January 1, 2020.
(a)A city located within the jurisdiction of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission may develop and implement a traffic signal optimization plan intended to reduce

travel times, the number of stops, and fuel use.

(b)The Department of Transportation and a city that develops a traffic signal optimization plan pursuant to subdivision (a) shall coordinate on any adjustments to traffic signals owned or operated by the

department.
