§ 85204.5

Added by Stats. 2000, Ch. 102, Sec. 20. Approved in Proposition 34 at the November 7, 2000, election. Operative January 1, 2001, by Sec. 83 of Ch. 102, as amended by Stats. 2001, Ch. 241, Sec. 18.

With respect to special elections, the following terms have the following meanings:

(a)“Special election cycle” means the day on which the office becomes vacant until the day of the special election.
(b)“Special runoff election cycle” means the day after the special election until

the day of the special runoff election.
