This chapter shall not apply to health benefit plans for coverage of Medicare services pursuant to contracts with the United States government, Medicare supplement policies, Medi-Cal contracts with the State Department of Health Care Services, policies offered under the Healthy Families Program, long-term care coverage, or specialized health benefit plans.
