§ 6031.5

For the purposes of this chapter, the term “correctional personnel” means either of the following:

(1)Any person described by subdivision (a) or (b) of Section 830.5, 830.55, 831, or 831.5.
(2)Any class of persons who perform supervision, custody, care, or treatment functions and are employed by the Department of Corrections, the Department of the Youth Authority, any correctional or detention facility, probation department, community-based correctional program, or other state or local public facility or program

responsible for the custody, supervision, treatment, or rehabilitation of persons accused of, or adjudged responsible for, criminal or delinquent conduct.
