§ 229.26

Amended by Stats. 2018, Ch. 156, Sec. 2. (SB 1259) Effective January 1, 2019.
(a)Except as provided in subdivisions (b) and (c), the distance from the nearest highway intersection to the nearest facility or attraction shall not exceed 10 miles.
(b)The maximum distance from the signed intersection to the nearest facility or attraction shall not exceed the following:
(1)One mile for a service station.
(2)Three miles for food or lodging facilities.
(c)The requirement specified in subdivision (a) does not apply

to tourist oriented directional signs to facilities or attractions located in the County of Tehama that are directly related to an American Viticultural Area established pursuant to Part 9 (commencing with Section 9.1) of Title 27 of the Code of Federal Regulations located in that county.
