§ 3111

On the original and on at least one copy of the map of the district, the clerk of the legislative body shall endorse his or her certificate evidencing the date and adoption of the resolution or ordinance describing the proposed boundaries of the district. The clerk of the legislative body shall file the original of the map in his or her office and, within 15 days after the adoption of the resolution or ordinance fixing the time and place of the hearing on the formation or extent of the district and in no event later than 15 days prior to the hearing, shall file a

copy thereof with the county recorder of each county in which all or any part of the proposed district is located upon payment of the filing fee.
