(a)At every presidential primary election, a member may be elected to a county central committee to replace a member whose term is expiring.
(b)When district boundaries are redrawn and districts are renumbered in accordance with the decennial census, a member of a county central committee may run for election in a newly
numbered district at the next election even though his or her current term of office has not expired. If a person is elected in the newly numbered district and takes the oath of office, the person is deemed to have resigned from his or her previous district office at that time.
