§ 1463.20

Notwithstanding any other law, fifty dollars ($50) of every parking penalty received by a local entity pursuant to Section 42001.5 of the Vehicle Code may be deposited by the treasurer of the local entity in a special account to be used by the local entity for the sole purposes of altering existing public facilities to make them accessible to persons with disabilities in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (42 U.S.C. Sec. 12101, et seq.), and federal regulations adopted pursuant to that act, and covering the actual administrative cost of

setting aside fifty dollars ($50) of every parking penalty received pursuant to Section 42001.5 of the Vehicle Code for that purpose.
