§ 29611

Added by Stats. 1977, Ch. 1155.

Except as provided in Section 818 of the Government Code, whenever a person has intentionally and knowingly violated any provision of this division, the commission may maintain an action, in addition to an action under Section 29610, for the recovery of exemplary damages. In determining the amount to be awarded, the court shall consider the amount of such damages necessary to deter further violations.
