§ 6215

As to lands heretofore sold by this State with a reservation to the State of a one-sixteenth interest in the oil and gas or other minerals therein, pursuant to Chapter 303 of the Statutes of 1921, and where it appears that there are or may be deposits of oil and gas in such lands the commission may enter into agreements with respect thereto in the manner provided by Section 6815 of this code with respect to lands owned by the State, or the commission may consent to the inclusion of such lands with the lands of other persons under a cooperative or unit plan of development or operation of a pool or field if it appears that the purpose of such plan is the conserving of the natural

resources of any single oil or gas pool or field and if it is determined by the commission to be necessary or advisable in the public interest.
