If the petition for dissolution is granted, the board of supervisors shall, by resolution, provide for and order the holding of a special election in the district, and shall submit to the qualified electors of the district the proposition of whether or not the district shall be dissolved.

The resolution calling the election shall recite the filing of the petition for dissolution and the approval thereof by the board of supervisors, and shall fix a time for the holding of the election.

The election shall be noticed and conducted, and the returns of the election made and canvassed, in the same manner as is provided for the formation

election. To the right of or below the question on the ballot, the words “Yes” and “No” shall be printed on separate lines, with voting targets.
