The unit designated as the Contra Costa Conduit consists of a conduit or canal equipped with all necessary pumping plants and other works to convey water and extending westerly from a diversion point near Knightsen southerly of Suisun Bay to the vicinity of Martinez.

Amended by Stats. 1957, Ch. 1932.

The Contra Costa Conduit shall be of such capacity as the department determines to be necessary to furnish an adequate supply of water for industrial, agricultural, domestic, and other beneficial uses in the area served by it.
