Added by Stats. 1993, Ch. 696, Sec. 2. Effective January 1, 1994.

Counties participating in the central benefit issuance system, pursuant to Section 11006.6, shall pay to the department, at regular intervals as determined by the department, the share of public social services costs otherwise attributable to local government. Failure to pay within the determined intervals shall result in offsetting the appropriate amount from any funds going to the county from the state.
