§ 16521

Added by Stats. 1993, Ch. 1089, Sec. 37. Effective January 1, 1994.

The State Department of Social Services, in consultation with representatives of local probation departments, foster care providers, and other interested parties, shall review federal and state statutes, federal requirements, and state regulations pertaining to the placement of children whose board and care is funded through the Aid to Families with Dependent Children-Foster Care program, and shall by January 1, 1995, develop regulations which identify specific initial and ongoing placement activities which must be performed by the probation department to ensure

the needs of wards in placement whose board and care is funded through the Aid to Families with Dependent Children-Foster Care program are met.
