§ 26553

For the enforcement of the levying and collection of any assessment required to be levied and collected for the payment of any debt incurred, when complaint is made to the Attorney General that the district attorney of any county has not performed any duty devolving upon him by the provisions of this article or is not proceeding with due diligence or in the proper manner in the performance of the duty, the Attorney General shall make an investigation. If he finds the charge to be true, the Attorney General shall take any action necessary to enforce the performance of the duties relating to the levying and collection of assessments.
