§ 21387

Added by Stats. 1951, Ch. 698.

When the president of the board is absent or unable to act at any meeting of the board and no vice president has been elected, the majority of the board may elect a president pro tempore from its members, who shall have the power to perform all the duties of the president of the board until he is replaced or until the president of the board returns to the performance of his duties.
