“Works” includes water works, conduits, reservoirs, storage sites, water sheds, machinery, wells, pumps, dams, storage tanks, tunnels, hydrants, meters, works and facilities for the collection, treatment and disposal of sewage, waste and storm waters, fire protection works and facilities, other appliances and their appurtenances.
