§ 11160

To the extent federal financial participation is available, any state agency responsible for the administration of any program under this division may establish procedures for common eligibility determination for public social service programs that aid needy families to the extent consistent with the eligibility of each program, so as to improve the efficiency of the operation of the welfare program, improve the cost-effective use of state dollars, and simplify the process for permitting qualified recipients to establish their eligibility.
