§ 7672.10

(a)A person who scatters cremated human remains or hydrolyzed human remains without a valid registration and who is not otherwise exempt from this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. The remains of each person scattered shall constitute a separate violation.
(b)Commencing January 1, 2027, a person who integrates reduced human remains into the soil without a valid registration and who is not otherwise exempt from this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor. The remains of each person integrated into the

soil shall constitute a separate violation.
