§ 5405.6

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no outdoor advertising display that exceeds 10 feet in either length or width, shall be built on any land or right-of-way owned by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority, including any of its rights-of-way, unless the authority complies with any applicable provisions of this chapter, the federal Highway Beautification Act of 1965 (23 U.S.C.A. Sec. 131), and any local regulatory agency’s rules or policies concerning outdoor advertising displays. The authority shall not disregard or preempt any law,

ordinance, or regulation of any city, county, or other local agency involving any outdoor advertising display.
