§ 11284

Added by Stats. 2004, Ch. 697, Sec. 14. Effective January 1, 2005. Section operative July 1, 2005, pursuant to Section 11288.

Notwithstanding any other provisions of this chapter or of the Administrative Procedure Act (Chapter 3.5 (commencing with Section 11340) of Part 1 of Division 3 of Title 2 of the Government Code), the commissioner may negotiate agreements with registrants and applicants resulting in disciplinary consent orders. The consent order may provide for any form of discipline provided for in this chapter. The consent order shall provide that it is not entered into as a result of any coercion by the commissioner. The consent order shall be accepted by signature or rejected by the commissioner in a timely manner.
