§ 17531.1

Every manufacturer, wholesaler, jobber, distributor, or other person, who packages children’s toys for sale to any retailer, shall clearly state on the outside of the package that the toy is unassembled if such is the case. If children’s toys are packaged outside this State, the first wholesaler, jobber, distributor, or other person who has possession or control of the toys in this State in the course of distribution or marketing of such toys for sale to any retailer shall not further distribute or market such toys if they are unassembled unless and until the outside of each package which contains any such toys clearly states that

the toys are unassembled.
