Every person referred to in this article shall each day, except legal holidays, deliver a full, true and complete copy of the register required to be kept by this article to the chief of police, city marshal, town marshal, or other head of the police department of the city, city and county, town, or other municipality or district wherein such builders’ tools were bought or received in pledge.
