Amended by Stats. 1993, Ch. 1172, Sec. 7. Effective January 1, 1994.

The council shall not expend council funds for advertising brand name seafood products as determined by the council, except for promotions carried out on behalf of the council in markets outside of the State of California. The council may expend council funds to conduct cost-sharing advertising with nonbrand name seafood products from the California commercial fisheries.
