Amended by Stats. 2006, Ch. 825, Sec. 2. Effective September 30, 2006.
(a)The following officers of the California Exposition and State Fair shall be appointed by the Governor, pursuant to Section 4 of Article VII of the California Constitution, upon recommendation of the board:
(1)Deputy general manager.
(2)Program manager.
(3)Marketing manager.
(b)The state officers appointed pursuant to subdivision (a) shall serve at the pleasure of the board, under the direction of the general manager.
