This part shall be known and may be cited as the Housing and Homeless Bond Act of 1988.

As used in this part, the following terms have the following meanings:
(a)“Bond” means a bond, authorized by Section 53170, that is tax exempt under both state and federal law, or a bond that is tax exempt under state law and taxable under federal law.
(b)“Committee” means the Housing Committee created pursuant to Section 53172.
(c)“Fund” means the Home Building and Rehabilitation Fund created pursuant to Section 53160.
