§ 105101

Added by Stats. 2000, Ch. 440, Sec. 9. Effective January 1, 2001.

It is the intent of the Legislature that the University of California provide academic courses and training in the field of geriatrics for medical students and existing general internists and family physicians in order to ensure that every general internist and family physician, along with other professions, have the requisite knowledge and skills to competently treat the older population by the year 2010 when the baby boomer generation begins to retire.
