§ 50455.6

Added by Stats. 2001, Ch. 577, Sec. 3. Effective January 1, 2002.

The Legislature finds and declares that a severe shortage of affordable housing exists for low- and moderate-income households, including the elderly, disabled persons, and other special needs populations. It is the intent of the Legislature that housing designed especially for low- and moderate-income elderly, disabled persons, and other special needs populations be given due consideration in the administration of the development, preservation, and rehabilitation of housing, and other housing programs, including encouraging the inclusion of supportive services

to meet the unique housing needs of these populations.
